Here's a vid of it
(bling) I had some time on my hands and decided to add some bling to one of my old shells I used an old computer fan and some 1:1 scale car LED washer jets and used an extra battery pack to power it all :)
(Twin tank) as you can see I tried every way there was of putting twin tanks on my savage and I can now say it is not worth it .This is just my opinion but
1:its hard to make sure the header tank is always full
2:it makes the S-25 engine very hard to tune
3:if you manage to tune it It does not hold it
(Tank Guard)
Ok I went and measured all the sizes I needed and marked them out on a bit of card. I cut the card out and this is how it started. I then folded it and checked that it fitted, It was like a glove. I then needed some metal to cut it out of. Then I remembered I had just thrown out some old computers
So I got 1 of the cases and laid my template on it and drew around it
I then cut it out and sprayed it and it fitted really nice
So im now well happy I don't have to worry about any air leaks or cracked tank
(Aluminum fuel tank) Pics to come. I posted this all over the net Before golden horizon released their's so yes there was a point in this at the time HeHe!
iv been trying to make myself an ali tank ever since I got through 5 in a week. I've made mock ones out of cardboard and I even made a steel one. but when it came to the 1mm ali every one I asked said it couldn't be welded. So not one to be beat a few months later I went and bought myself a welder and set it up for ali and by trial and error taught myself to weld. I have just finished my first tank (which all in all has cost me about £1000 and god only knows how many hours in the shed) now just got to figure how I should attach it. Bear in mind this is also a mock tank and my first welding attempt so don't knock it cuz they will only get better.
(Big Wheels)
Ok this all started when some one asked if I could make my savage float, so I went to my local tyre place and got four valves and fitted them to some trukzilla wheels. I then pumped them up but I kept trying to go to big and they would pop off their rims so I had to do a mega glue job on them. anyway I got them up to 1bar pressure and went to the local lake and vwhala
here's a vid of me blowing them up not quite to 1 bar at this point
12inc's here is also a vid of me
here is a vid of the savage floating and then to the skate park which killed my savage as it wouldn't run right that day. so I didn't really have any control in the air
(Swimming Savage Mark1)
So after making my savage float I got a lot of people asking me to start it up on the water but when I went to get the tyres back out every time I pumped one up it popped (it was so funny)but it cost me a lot of money in tyres
so not one to be deterred I went and bought some more and I couldn't get them anywhere near as big as the first set so I put the idea of it swimming to sleep that is until I saw these.
even though these cost me a lot of money I was straight back to the tyre shop and got four new valves and even though I was not able to get them as big as the trukzillas as the rims on the jumbos are so small. But because of the tyres wall height and width they easily held enough air to make it swim. I also added some of that foam you can put in to tyres so that if you get a puncher it fix's its self

(Swimming savage mark2)
At the moment iv only got pics of the mark 2 as I haven't tried it on the lake yet but hope to soon as I think it will be pretty good. Iv added paddles and a snorkel click pic to enlarge
